Job Title: Social and Traditional Media Coordinator

Pay rate: $24.09/hour on w2 without benefits
Shift hours: Monday through Friday regular shift timings
Summary:
A "Social and Traditional Media Coordinator " is responsible for developing and executing both digital social media strategies and traditional media campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms while monitoring and analyzing results to optimize reach and engagement with the target audience; this role involves creating content for social media channels, managing press releases, coordinating with media outlets, and tracking campaign performance across various media types.

- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Create engaging content including text, images, videos, and graphics tailored to each platform.
- Schedule and publish content according to a content calendar.
- Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Run social media campaigns and contests to increase engagement.
- Draft and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
- Build relationships with journalists and media contacts.
- Pitch story ideas and secure media coverage for company initiatives.
- Monitor traditional media coverage for accuracy and brand alignment.
- Coordinate media interviews and appearances for company executives.
- Develop compelling content for both digital and traditional media including blog posts, articles, press releases, website copy, and marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns incorporating both social and traditional media tactics.
- Track campaign performance using key metrics (impressions, reach, engagement, click-through rates).
- Analyze campaign data to identify areas for optimization and make adjustments as needed.
- Generate regular reports on social media performance and traditional media coverage.
- Identify trends and insights to inform future marketing strategies.
- Complete all duties as assigned or requested as outlined in operational and procedural guidelines. These guidelines are maintained and issued in the event of an emergency situation that arises at a property or any other location that serves our residents or employees.
- Participate in Trauma Informed Care (TIC) initiatives, including training, workgroups, project assignments, etc., that are launched or implemented in order to achieve and/or maintain certification as a TIC organization.
- Participate in initiatives to include training, workgroups, project assignments, etc., that are launched or implemented in order to create awareness, foster, cultivate, and preserve a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Recognize the significance of a data-driven organization that adheres to expanded policies and practices in the area of data governance. Learn the distinct and different roles to include: Data Trustees, Data
- Domain Stewards, Data System Custodians, Data Stewards, and Data Users. Effectively collaborate with the various data roles as needed on a daily basis or in a project capacity.

Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Experience Required:
- Two (2) years' experience with social media analytics and reporting.
- Must have the ability to learn and use cloud applications such as the Google G-suit applications, including but not limited to Google Chrome Browser, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Understand document sharing and collaboration in the cloud. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, cloud-accessible applications including but not limited to One Drive, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or MAC or PC desktop equivalent, is acceptable.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check, education, and work history verification, and drug screening test.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Ability to learn cloud technologies such as Lucid Chart for diagrams, workflow, and chart drawing. Experience with Vizio or equivalent is acceptable. Basic understanding of Virtual Private Network (VPN) access to connect to internal business systems.
License + Certificates Required:
- Texas Class "C" driver's license at the time of placement and insurable by the organization's fleet and liability insurance carrier.
- Must have the ability to earn certifications as required by assigned tasks.
