Associate Technical Consultant, Geoscience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Survey/Geophysical/Geologic support in charge of assisting with evaluation of survey and geoscience needs for projects.
  • Interfaces with internal project teams and provides geo-consulting guidance to those teams.
  • Development of SOW and specifications for geophysical and geotechnical site investigation
  • Preparation and evaluation of Tenders for both geophysical and geotechnical site investigation
  • Contractor management, client representative during site investigation
  • Preparation or management of integrated desktop and field development studies.
  • Preparation or management of pipeline and wellsite drilling ROW and site clearance reports.
  • Preparation of Integrated studies, integrating geophysical and geotechnical data
  • Familiarity with basic geotechnical engineering principles
  • Support Worley worldwide geoscience operations.
  • Use of GIS-based data and integration from multiple disciplines.
  • Processing and integration of geophysical survey data.
  • Interpretation and reporting on geophysical and geotechnical data.
  • Performs pipeline routing assessment and design.
  • Liaises with subsea engineers on geohazards and siting conditions for subsea facilities.
  • Works with geoscience team as subject matter experts on geosciences to internal and external clients.
  • Serves offshore as client Technical Representative on geophysical, geotechnical, environmental surveys.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in Geoscience, Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in offshore wind site characterization, survey, and construction.
  • Management of multi-disciplinary field programs including geotechnical, geophysical, metocean, benthic, etc. for offshore development sites, routing, and shore crossings.
