Responsibilities: The Omnichannel Activation Manager is responsible for developing and implementing omnichannel strategies which support key brand and retail customer initiatives that will drive sales and market share growth. To build these activation plans, this person must be able to assess and integrate business opportunities and key activation strategies, driving maximum return for Del Monte Foods brands, at their assigned accounts. This person must have demonstrated experience building customer relationships, executing retail / shopper media and driving influence with cross functional teams. Travel required, +/- 10% This is a remote / home office-based position that can be located in any of the following states: AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Office accommodation can also be made should the candidate prefer a hybrid work schedule from our Pittsburgh, PA or Rogers, AR offices.
- Marries brand and retailer category objectives to build customer-specific strategies that achieve business objectives at assigned accounts, leveraging shopper insights and past program performance data
- Develops and executes omnichannel programming from Retail and In-Store Shopper Tactics, like signage, demos, or direct mailers, to 1st- and 3rd-party digital programs, like Social through Retailer Channels, Digital Coupons, Programmatic Banners, Retail Search, etc.
- Manages and/or mentors Associate(s) within the organization
- Leverages external brand partnerships to maximize program impact, as needed
- Briefs creative and execution partners on activations, providing clear guidance on success criteria and ensures messaging aligns with program objectives, brand IMC / style guides and retailer specifications
- Establishes KPIs; utilizes campaign analytics, customer consumption and share data to optimize media and measure results that positively drive sales/share growth for Del Monte's brands and the Retailer's category
- Ensures cost estimates have been approved by internal stakeholders and activation plans have been socialized
- Supports customer meetings with omnichannel strategies, plans, program results and other sales tools
- Supports budget tracking and communication with Finance partners and invoice processing
- Participates in the annual customer planning process and the integrated marketing communications process to influence and build actionable growth plans for our brands and customers
- Builds trusted partnerships, both internally and externally, to achieve shared goals. Internal stakeholders include Sales, Business Unit Leads, Category Insights, Customer Development and Strategy as well as Finance
- Plays critical role in educating internal stakeholders on program performance as well as incremental opportunities as they pertain to their respective accounts
- Understands key drivers of activation performance and proactively explores new capabilities and activation partners that can deliver on business objectives
- Develops strong understanding of Retailer strategies, category dynamics and consumer behavior
- Helps the team deliver volume and profit expectations

Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required; MBA degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CPG industry or related field; Shopper / Retail Marketing, eCommerce, Omnichannel Marketing experience preferred
- Experience in Retail Media, Shopper Media and / or eCommerce Activation
- Self-starter with results-orientation and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong business acumen and decision making/analytical skills; innovative and creative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred experience in Retail Activation
