Location: Cheshire, CT (ATS) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Electromechanical Technician, Advanced Technologies & Services, hereafter referred to as "EMT AT&S"' is responsible for mechanical / electrical assembly and development, prototype fabrication of innovative, robust and reliable automated systems for Airgas/Air Liquide and its customer's assembly. The EMT AT&S will work within the Systems Engineering team to develop new systems, perform the assembly, reduce product costs, and improve the quality of prototype fabrication. They will work closely with Airgas Support Group to provide support for existing systems. They will lead the high performance production and development process and work with external subject matter experts as needed with a focus on innovating and delivering systems globally to Airgas and its customers with relentless execution.The candidate must possess knowledge and ability across mechanical & electrical systems as well as the IT field. The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate the purpose of these Airgas systems with a variety of clientele. This candidate must sustain a culture of safety, passion, hard-work, innovation and accountability that will make Airgas the place to be for top talent interested in developing and delivering Advanced Systems & Services.
The EMT AT&S will possess strong technical and practical knowledge of the products fielded and supported by this group. The EMT AT&S will have a strong history of successfully building, and servicing and supporting complex automated systems. It is critical that the EMT AT&S can contribute technically in the projects in addition to regular responsibilities. Technical Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Chemical discipline.
