How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
This position is responsible for development and maintenance of computer systems and business process solutions in support of Airgas businesses utilizing SAP functionality and various e-business solutions. The ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems, which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives, is critical to the success of this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Development and maintenance of FI and CO functionality including SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, including sub modules: FI-GL, AP, AR, CO-PC, CO-PA,WBS, Internal Orders, FSCM, Foreign Currency translation, ABAP Query, Report Painter, Report Writer, Intercompany transactions, and Project Systems.
Skills and activities include:
Systems analysis and design
Configuration
Identifying gaps and working with development team to develop technical specs
Testing and evaluation of new Financial applications functionality
Production support of existing Financial applications functionality
Business process analysis, documentation, presentation, and re-engineering is necessary
Interaction with users from various functional areas (sales, order processing, pricing, shipping, logistics, etc.)
Translating end-user requirements into detailed documented specifications
Development of complete functional requirements specification, including business impact and ROI
Coordinate and assist in development and execution of system conversions
Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end-state deliverable
Stay in touch with industry and domain specific developments through to proactively suggest ideas for implementation within the Airgas environment
Independently analyze gaps and opportunities and solution appropriately
Debugging issues
Assist in testing and validating development and create holistic testing scripts
Being the primary contact for business within their module
Act as key resource in Digital and IT related projects through all lifecycle stages of implementation

Are you a MATCH?
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience

6+ years' experience in an Information Technology systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into systems specifications

  • 2+ full life cycle SAP Implementations

Experience implementing and supporting S/4 HANA is a must

  • 6+ years of hands-on SAP ECC configuration experience of FI and CO

  • In depth knowledge of CO and COPA processes

  • FI and CO month end closing process knowledge

  • Knowledge of the other SAP modules as well as experience of integration with other SAP modules, especially SD and MM

  • A technical understanding of SAP ABAP

  • Experience working with Vertex, FX, VAT and GST is a plus

  • Experience working with BPC is a plus

  • Experience working with other modules such as FSCM is a plus

  • Experience with configuring and/or supporting Credit Card processing is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability and flexibility to quickly learn new applications and software

  • Ability to work with teams or independently

  • Experienced in leading / project managing specific pieces of work, people and/or deliverables

  • Demonstrate experience managing and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving cross functional teams

  • Experience in Business; specifically in processes around wholesale distribution and retail a plus

  • Solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a team member

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% as required
