Advance your career with Advantage Technical and our trusted partner in the medical device industry! We're currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our innovative and driven team. In this role, you'll contribute to setting-up, maintaining and supporting laser processing systems. in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your skills and dedication are truly valued.

Pay: $27/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical installation, initial laser setup, and equipment debugging.
  • Support laser equipment qualifications, beam delivery alignment, and characterization activities.
  • Assist with laser-related process validations, production activities, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Process Development teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on laser systems and help establish maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, escalate complex problems, and support special investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain functional systems to produce high-quality parts.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required; AA degree preferred or 1 year of related experience; without a degree, 2-3 years of relevant experience needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, with strong technical skills and a hands-on approach.
  • Experience with laser processing and familiarity with SolidWorks preferred.
  • Background in CNC machining and CAM/CAD experience is highly desirable.
  • Process development experience, particularly with metals, is a plus.
