Program Specialist, Medical and Professional Education

The Program Specilaist for Medical & Professional Education will work closely with the National Director of Business Development and the Medical & Professional Education Programming & Training Manager to provide strategic support in the coordination and continuous improvement of Hazelden Betty Ford medical education immersion programming. The Program Specialist has focused responsibilities on the planning and coordination of Medical Education Programming for healthcare professionals, medical students, and other clinical students/professionals. In particular, the Program Specialist focuses on the management of participant registration, communication, and logistics. Program facilitation may occur as needed.

• Execute standard models of programming for medical and professional education training.

• Facilitate the Delivery of Professional & Medical Education programs

• Provide strategic support for the development and evolution of standardized models of immersion programming for medical and professional education

• Steward resources in order to achieve budget expectations. Administer revenue functions

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree plus four years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree plus two years of related work experience in healthcare or education/training
• Computer skills including Microsoft products, Office 365
• Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Self-directed and ability to work independently
• Demonstrate flexibility, prioritization, teamwork and multi-tasking skills to accommodate varying program's needs.
• Practice independent judgment to solve problems and make decision
• Show strong professional communication, customer service, and presentation skills
• Take initiative and make suggestions for program improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of HBFF programs, substance use disorder, treatment and recovery
• Three-five years of experience in professional training/education
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office 365, Alchemer, Oracle, OnBase, Axiom, Smartsheet
