Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Determines the labor and machine resources required to accomplish production tasks
  • Uses time standards to establish, measure, monitor, and adjust the resource capacity limits or levels necessary to execute the production plan
  • Develops and uses time standards
  • Reports on capacity constraints that may hinder completion of the production plan and provides methodologies to overcome those constraints
  • Performs detail shop scheduling and reporting to ensure production deliverables are completed to support downstream customers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of relevant experience
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Familiarity with Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Five S's, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving, ISO, AS-91000, ISO-14001 or similar
  • High energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect change
  • Able to interface comfortably with all levels of management
  • Aircraft Experience
  • MS Office Skills
  • Data analytical abilities
  • Problem solving / decision making skills
  • Previous experience with Project Management
  • Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
