Job Summary:

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the functional operations of the assigned Workforce Centers. This position monitors and assists with the implementation of project goals and objectives, and monitors and implements actions to meet designed plans. This person manages daily project operations and staff. The Site Manager ensures development, completion and implementation of desk procedures for all functional areas, and it responsible for effective communication and administration of policies and procedures as well as staff development.



Essential Functions:

    Management of the centers to ensure that a high-quality program is delivered, following State, Federal and local guidelines closely.
  • Overseeing the Centre Management Team to ensure effective management of all staff.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship with staff, clients and Board staff.
  • Ensure staff training is conducted when appropriate and implement cross-training for staff development and operational strength.
  • Make decisions to facilitate project accomplishments and ensure that they are understood and supported by staff.
  • Assign priorities and scheduling to meet planned objectives.
  • Develop and apply methods to monitor, review and improve work quality.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project goals and objectives.
  • Preparing weekly or monthly reports.


Other Functions:

  • To manage the Contractor, State and volunteers staff.
  • Ensuring the effective day to day running of the Centres.
  • Quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to attend meetings training and other activities
  • May facilitate group orientations.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services field and five years' experience managing social service programs.
  • Possess administrative and program leadership.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written communication skills, and demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Knowledge of management, office procedures and possess the ability to supervise professional and clerical staff.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others in a manner conducive to high productivity and morale
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to perform basic word processing and data entry.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with the communities being served.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.

Preferred:

Previous experience with TWIST software system.

Bilingual (English/Spanish).



Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas.
  • While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of work station and other office equipment.
  • Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.


Work Environment:

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and local travel, including exposure to heat, cold, inclement weather conditions, and occasional environmental hazards.
