Acara Solutions has an opening for a Process Technician/Metrology Technician 3 in Fremont, CA.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Process/Metrology Technician 3 at Lam, you're a pivotal force in operating equipment in our applications lab. You'll be hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment, performing tool operation and metrology activities. You'll support and maintain innovative equipment providing direct support to engineering team, making you an integral part of our technology's success. In this role, you will support testing, process plan execution, and assembly/submission of SEM/STEM samples.
What You'll Do
Supports Process Engineers in preparation for 300mm wafer-based experiments, metrology data collection, and coupon sample preparation and submissions.
Operates advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect on-tool experiment results and wafer-based metrology measurements.
Processes SPCs and prepares records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas.
Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups.
Schedule: Swing shift (2pm - 11pm), Thursday - Monday, 5/8s
Pay: $31.07/hr
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1-2 years of related experience.
Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
Ability to work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock.
Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
Ability to work a shift schedule - permanent Swing Shift (14:00 to 23:00).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
1. Familiar with cleanroom protocol
2. Night shift working is required
3. Analytical and problem solving
4. Fluent in written and spoken English
