About the Role: We are looking for an Ecommerce Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive the commercial performance of the sitkagear.com website as it relates to content planning, execution, and strategy. Working with the Ecomm Product Specialist and Ecomm leaders, and alongside colleagues in Marketing, Merchandising, Product, and IT, this role is responsible for ensuring the adoption and operational excellence of web content experiences.

This position will be located at our Bozeman facility in Bozeman, Montana, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, brief, and execute on-site content supporting key eCommerce and Retail Marketing objectives in collaboration with Marketing, Merchandising, and Product teams to deliver the best shopper experience
  • Own day-to-day content management operations and tasks in support of product launches, other marketing initiatives, and regular page maintenance
  • Master the content management and publishing operations in support of all product launches, big and small, and other digital marketing programs. Includes setting up and managing page structure and content in a CMS (content management system)
  • Drive the calendar for all content on sitkagear.com, with a focus on commercial performance and enhancing user experience
  • Partner with Ecomm leader on the web and AB testing roadmaps
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and processes by providing feedback on toolsets, UI, best practices, and workflow optimization
  • Create and maintain GA4 dashboards for user engagement KPIs
  • Balance and prioritize multiple projects, assignments, and launches in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment

Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working on ecommerce teams
  • Experience with managing content using a CMS
  • Experience working with toolsets as they're being created and rolled out
  • Knowledge of how content management and other related system processes work
  • Demonstrated success working with defined business processes and workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with others in an unpredictable environment
  • Flexible personality and schedule to deal with rapidly changing, time-constrained launch schedules
  • Ability to test and report on CMS issues, and communicate those issues to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to travel up to 5%



Desired Qualifications:



  • Experience with Contentful CMS, BigCommerce Ecomm platforms or comparable
  • Experience with AB testing tools (AB Tasty for example.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, JSON, and CSS a plus
