We are currently hiring for:

Job Title Safety Specialist - 2nd Shift

Compensation Detail: $20.55 to $28.99 per hour

Job Summary: Safety Specialist will be a resource for both internal and external customers in all of their safety needs. The Safety Specialist will provide administrative support to the Safety Team, as well as assist team members with any type of Safety related questions and concerns they may have.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Monitor daily activities to ensure a safe work environment, through training, audits, inspections, and enforcement.
  • Facilitates safety training, completes incident investigations
  • Assists with safety projects including but not limited to lockout/tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Pre Start-up Safety Reviews, and Risk Assessments.
  • Partner with Human Resources, management and team members to promote safety.
  • Perform internal administrative duties such as scheduling, training, and program management as needed.
  • Collect and provide data on safety statistics and trends to the safety manager.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Gmail/Google Suite products.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Must be dependable and be able to work well with others.
  • Requires good customer service skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must be a problem solver.
  • Partner with all departments of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:



  • High School diploma is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • Computer skills and knowledge are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and meet deadlines is needed.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within a constantly changing environment.
  • Must be able to problem solve.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
