Material Handler (All Shifts)

Our Danfoss facility in Van Wert, OH is actively seeking talent to join its operations to support in our Distribution, Assembly and other Production areas. The salary ranges for these positions are $17-$18.55/hour. Currently there are openings on several shifts: 8-hour workday/ 5 days per week schedules.

The areas we actively hiring Material Handlers are in: Distribution, Custom Tubes, Metal Finishing.

• Material Handler I 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift
• Material Handler II 1st, 3rd and 4th Shift*

*Note: Effective June 1st several shifts will move to 4 days per week/10-hour workday; 4th shift will not be impacted)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to lift to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Be able to work without sponsorship
• Speak English fluently written and verbally
• Be willing to work on equipment up to 20 feet in the air
• Prior experience with power industrial vehicles (i.e. forklift) is required for some roles
• Experience working with powered industrial vehicles; and/or the willingness to learn and maintain an active license for stock pickers and Very Narrow Aisle Trucks (VNAs, i.e. forklifts)
