CNC Operator (All Shifts)

Our Danfoss facility in Van Wert, OH is actively seeking talent to join its operations to support in our Distribution, Assembly and other Production areas. The salary for this position starts at $22.22/hour. Currently there are openings on several shifts: 8-hour workday/ 5 days per week schedules.

The CNC Operator will:

• Set-up gauging, prove-out programs, and operating machine tools to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to exact tolerances.
• Actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by yourself, the facility, and Danfoss.

*New Hires may be required to train on the 1st Shift which may take several weeks depending on the position and how quickly someone can meet the Individual Training Standards before being permanently assigned FT to this shift.

• Hiring CNC Operator 2nd and 4th Shift

Note: Effective June 1st several shifts will move to 4 days per week/10-hour workday; 4th shift will not be impacted.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to lift to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Be able to work without sponsorship
• Speak English fluently written and verbally
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience operating manual NC, and or CNC machine tools
• Knowledge of gauging concepts and techniques (calipers, high gauges, micrometers, profilometers, etc)
