Position Summary:

The Quality Department Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of Attribute Inspection project which encompasses consolidation and/or creation of Visual Inspection Criteria visual aids, establishment of standardized inspection tools, equipment and workstation set up.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Work with the Quality and Secondary Ops departments to understand and compile a list of both required and desired inspection equipment/tools.
  • Source inspection tools and submit purchase requisitions
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations to understand the workspace constraints and develop options for sustainable inspection tool repositories at each workstation to ensure tools are not damaged and/or lost.
  • Assess gaps in visual aid documentation and partner with operations and quality control to develop visual aids to close the gaps.
  • Update current governing Work Instructions related to Visual Inspection as well as training materials.
  • Other duties as assigned

Must Have:



  • 2 years minimum completed towards an engineering or science degree.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of technical writing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Results oriented and ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.



Salary Range: $20.00 / hour
