What You Will Do:
- Assist in the production of survey drawings
- Perform basic survey computations
- Use CAD and other survey/engineering software for basic survey drawing preparation
- Assist with survey field operations as needed with:
Construction staking, which will include shoveling, lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs - Operate survey instruments (robotic total stations, GPS equipment and data collectors) to collect and process field measurements and data for engineering and surveying projects
What We are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in Land Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited post-secondary institution OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software (i.e. AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
- Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively apply survey and engineering concepts
- Good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skill
- Advanced math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- This role requires that you possess a valid driver's license and be insurable at the Firm's standard rates. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check is a standard condition of employment.
