What you'll do:

• Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
• Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
• Review existing policies and procedures
• Adhere to all the rules and regulations
• Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
• Enforce preventive measures
• Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
• Coordinate all employee scheduled training and certifications
• Assist with recruiting and new employee on-boarding
• Perform other special projects or duties when required

You'll need to have:

• 2 years of experience in a safety related role
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of safety rules and required PPE
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
• Intermediate level understanding and usage of MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
