Position Title: Shipping/Picker
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Shipping/Picker position available at a company in Racine, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Shipping/Picker Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Verify and screen orders. - Pull parts from picklist in warehouse. - Pack shipments using a pick list. - Record shipping data accurately; according to requirements. - Use Shipping software (WorldShip, Ship Manger, etc.). - Prepare required shipping documents such as shipping labels, invoices, ills of lading. - Adhere to the regulations of DOT, IATA, IMO. - Follow all ISO standards as they apply to the department. - Keep the assigned work area cleaned. - Assist with cleanliness of entire warehouse. - Use reach truck and picker after finishing the required training. Shipping/Picker Requirements: - Must be able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. - Must be detailed oriented, fast paced individual. - Basic mathematical, (English) reading, writing and comprehension skills. - Must be able to communicate and understand oral instructions. - Must be able to stand, lift (up to 50lbs), and bend for an 8+ hour shift. - Must be able to adapt to new processes and procedures. - Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. - Basic computer skills. - High School Diploma or GED required. - Minimum of 3 months previous shipping or relevant experience required. racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
