Starting Pay: $20.75/hr Schedule: Mon- Fri 6:30am until finish What we offer: Medical, Prescription Drug, EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment Dental, vision and other voluntary plans Pre-Tax Saving Accounts Profit Sharing Position Summary: Coordinates and assists in the supervision of activities of Halperns' warehouse functions. Essential Functions: Collaborates with the supervisor to assist in coordinating the daily activities of Halperns' warehouse operations. Monitors the receiving, selection, and/or loading of warehouse product to ensure the efficient flow of products in the warehouse. Assists in observations for employee reviews, and disciplinary actions. Monitors and prioritizes order fulfillment. Assists in investigating variances. Provides training for employees on job technique and/or safety requirements. Serve in the function of employee or supervisor as appropriate. Assists in resolving warehouse issues, problems or conflicts. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills: Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment. Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations. Equipment / Tools / Technology: Ability to use a radio frequency handheld computer. Ability to operate a PIV. Minimum Years of Experience: At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience required.
