Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the Environmental Management mission at the lab. Qualified individuals must hold a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Postdoctoral Research positions support the Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management mission to reduce risk associated with radioactive wastes, spent nuclear fuel (SNF), excess plutonium and uranium, and/or contaminated soil and groundwater. The candidate will apply technical knowledge in the fields of metallurgical engineering and materials science to a variety of R&D programs at the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL). The candidate should have a strong knowledge of metal and ceramic materials processing with aptitude to support advanced material development.
