Form Energy is hiring a Parts Manager to oversee and organize the procurement, inventory, and logistics of parts essential for our prototype machine shop..This role reports into our Manager, Prototype Build and Design. As part of our Mechanical Design Engineering team, you will be involved in managing parts and stock inventory, fulfilling custom shop requests, and supporting R&D efforts by coordinating with various Engineering and Operations teams. You will also play a key role in overseeing parts orders from outsourced suppliers and assisting with fabrication and 3D printing tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

• Manage and organize parts and stock inventory for our prototype machine shop.

• Coordinate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to process custom shop requests.

• Oversee parts orders to outsourced suppliers on behalf of the Engineering team, supporting various R&D efforts.

• Assist in executing standard shop fabrication and 3D printing requests.

• Support efforts to maintain and repair shop machinery and equipment.

• Strong working knowledge of the equipment, processes, and procedures involved in operating a machine shop

• 2+ years of Tool Room/Machining experience working with cutting tools

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and blueprints

• Nice to have skills: 3D printing, bandsaw, CNC machining, and welding experience
