Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of our Admissions Department? Under the dynamic supervision of the Vice President of Admissions, you will play a pivotal role in directing our strategic planning and goal-setting functions. This is your chance to make a real impact! Key Responsibilities Await You: Lead & Inspire: Directly manage the Associate Director, Managers, and the dedicated Newport Healthcare Admissions Department staff. Your leadership will guide them to success! Strategic Placement: Collaborate with your team to strategize on Admissions Cases, ensuring timely and appropriate placements for all. Seamless Coordination: Partner with Program Management to streamline Admissions, Tours, Special Accommodations, Discharges, and Transfers. Financial Oversight: Review and approve pre-admission financials to ensure smooth operations. Empower the Contact Center: Take charge of staffing, training, strategy, and performance for our Contact Center, ensuring excellence in every interaction. Quality Assurance: Maintain regular communication with the backup call center to ensure top-notch performance and effective overflow handling. Optimize Processes: Collaborate with the Director of Utilization Review to enhance and refine the Admissions process. Be the Go-To Person: Serve as the primary contact for Local Program Management, Clinical Outreach, and Finance Department staff to resolve any admission-related issues. Support When It Counts: Be available on evenings and weekends to provide essential support to your team. Protocol Development: Create and update departmental protocols that set the standard for excellence. Quality Control Champion: Facilitate and monitor quality control measures to ensure staff development and uphold high-quality standards. Performance Improvement: Regularly review staff work and implement performance improvement mechanisms to boost efficiency and productivity. Hands-On Assistance: Provide assistance at the case level as needed to ensure successful admissions. Escalation Point: Act as the point of contact for escalated cases based on referent or parent complaints. Streamline Admissions: Communicate and collaborate with the Clinical Director of Admissions to prioritize and enhance the Admissions Process. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strategize with operational leadership across all service lines to ensure high performance. Engaging Meetings: Conduct regular one-on-one and departmental meetings to review key performance indicators and implement improvement measures. Quality Assurance Reviews: In conjunction with the Associate Director of Admissions, conduct regular process and system reviews to ensure quality standards are met and corrective measures are implemented as needed. Time Management: Manage time-clock systems and report on overtime to keep everything running smoothly. Insightful Reporting: Execute a variety of reports-daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc-to provide organizational visibility and identify trends and problem areas. Salary Range for this position based on experience and education: $107,000 - $125,000 Are You Ready to Bring Your Expertise to Our Team?
