Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the coordination, organization and management of the warehouse, vehicle maintenance, routine building maintenance, tool maintenance, shipping & receiving, and pulling material for projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize materials and tools.


  • Organize materials and maintain current inventory list including check-in and check-out process.
  • Maintain a clean work area to help prevent work-related injuries.


  • Responsible for all shipping and receiving.


  • Package and ship all items that leave AllCom headquarters facility.
  • Pick up material from local vendors when required.
  • Receive material and check for damage or shortages (packing slip control)
  • File freight claims for damaged material received as well as managing the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process as appropriate.


Pull warehouse material prior to placing orders for Projects.

  • Pull warehouse inventory for projects prior to placing orders with vendors.
  • Update List of Material pulled from warehouse for procurement to order material not in sock.
  • Responsible for managing the minor material boxes for each project.
  • Maintain company vehicle material and tool stock.
  • Keep inventory of consumable items used on all projects.


  • Project staging


  • Stage and track material sent to and from the warehouse.
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate project site and in the expected quantities.


  • Tool maintenance


  • Implement a schedule and log to be used for tool maintenance, calibration and safety record.


  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Maintain company vehicles and trailers and keep maintenance log insuring inspections are performed on schedule.
  • Ensure current insurance cards and Automobile Accident Reports forms are kept in each vehicle.
  • Perform routine building maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Warehouse, maintenance and installation knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the construction and/or telecommunications installation field
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of computerized purchasing and inventory systems
  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to climb ladders up to 25 feet and work on lifts up to 40 feet.


Education/Certification/Job Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in the working/running day to day warehouse operations.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Clean background
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver's license.
