Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Arlington, VA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Learning Administrator for the client will be responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of annual client Learning and Development events, programs, and projects.
  • This role will administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learning sessions are created and communicated in a timely manner, team member training records are up to date, and training evaluations are distributed.
  • The Learning Administrator will support the marketing and communication campaigns for the region to promote learner engagement.
  • This role will also support the Learning and Culture team with all operational and logistical activities.
  • Perform all administrative and logistical tasks associated with the overall execution of the annual training plan, leadership programs, and learning campaigns.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), which includes creating training sessions, managing training invites, maintaining learner registration, updating employee training records, and distributing evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable to ensure timely creation of suppliers and processing of vendor payments.
  • Compile and develop reports as needed - maintaining accurate training records, analyzing evaluation data, and monitoring costs.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of tutorials to promote various features of the Learning Management System.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of a quarterly learning newsletter for all employees.
  • Support the mentoring program by ensuring the system is up to date with active employees and sending out timely communication for monthly matches.
  • Create and update learning curriculums and materials in the LMS and assign them to the appropriate team member population.
  • Distribute learner feedback surveys after each session and follow up with learners to improve the response rate.
  • Manage the central mailbox for the Learning team and be the first point of contact for all general learning and development inquiries.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in the Cornerstone learning management system.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in orientation toward positive customers.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in Computer Operating, including MS Office and learning management systems.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in an administrative role.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills are needed, as well as the ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work independently and resourcefully within tight schedules.
  • Skills in visual arts such as graphic design and tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Minimum physical requirements are the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion.
