MRI Technologist Weirton Medical Work Hours/Shift: All shifts, weekdays, weekends MRI Technologist Will Be Responsible For: * Screens all patients in depth concerning history, possible metallic or foreign body and for completion of diagnostic x-rays. * Assists radiologist and physicians when necessary. Screens patients for safety and exam appropriateness. Knowledgeable in ALL aspects of MRI safety. Must be MRI registered. * Performs quality MRI exams, maintains accurate log books, completes all functions in MRI such as archiving and filming. MRI Technologist Qualifications What You Will Need: Graduate of a program approved by a mechanism recognized by the appropriate accrediting body and the U.S. Department of Education. Current Registry with the A.R.R.T. in Magnetic Resonance Imaging [ARRT (MR)] and a West Virginia license. Meets board eligibility criteria and consistently shows proficiency in a second modality. Registry must be completed within 24 months of competency of secondary modality. Minimum of five years experience of working with MRI, performing MRI examinations and experience with multiple vendors of MRI equipment. |
