Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graphics Specialist (Mid-Level) to join our dynamic communications team. The ideal candidate will have experience across the Adobe Creative Suite producing compelling visuals and products.

The Graphics Specialist supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Office of Corporate Communication (SEA 00D) by designing exhibits, printed and Internet publications, and visual presentations.

NAVSEA SEA 00D supports the Command mission of designing, building, delivering and sustaining the U.S. Navy's ships, submarines and systems through its strategic communications efforts. Representing more than 86,000 employees geographically dispersed across more than 40 locations worldwide, SEA 00D is responsible for providing the strategic guidance, planning and execution support for all enterprise-wide internal and external communication, including marketing requirements and legislative engagement. In this capacity, the office provides direct support and strategic advisement to the Commander on all communication matters.

Responsibilities

• Design exhibits, presentations, online and print quality collateral, etc.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine necessary information to provide the most effective visual presentation.
• Conceptualize via storyboards, process, and produce audio, video, animations, and interactive multimedia material for a variety of audiences and platforms applying industry-leading audiovisual standards.
• Synthesize complex ideas and initiatives into easily understood visuals for a variety of audiences.
• Track requests, produce production reports, as well as manage/archive materials once approved using Navy standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience producing military and/or government graphic design products (short engaging videos, images, posters, infographics, digital signage).
• Must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibility Compliance Standards.
• Working knowledge of NAVSEA, Congress, the Navy and Department of Defense.
• Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Education

Bachelor of Arts in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Animation, Art, or a related field.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: Washington Navy Yard; Onsite 5 days per week

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
