Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts group psychotherapy and psychoeducational therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Performs concurrent and pre-certification Utilization Review, ensuring adherence to managed care guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of evolving managed care practices and provider regulations to optimize patient treatment.
• Assesses, monitors, and documents patient safety, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Participates in studies to evaluate compliance with departmental guidelines and best practices.
• Communicates effectively-both verbally and in writing-with interdisciplinary teams and contributes to patient conferences as assigned.
• Conducts comprehensive behavioral health intake assessments for patients referred to the Day Treatment Program, evaluating safety, treatment compliance, and medication adherence to determine the appropriate level of care.
• Assists in the development and enhancement of Day Treatment Program offerings to improve patient outcomes and overall program effectiveness.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

• Must have at least one of the following degrees:
• Advanced Practice RN with Relevant Master's degree required with Education in Group Therapy modalities and theory required (to be evaluated on an individual basis).
• Master's degree in Social Work required. LCSW-C or eligible.
• Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology

Current and appropriate Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Must have at least one of the following:
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor ( L.C.P. C.)
• ANA Psychotherapy Certification required for the APRN
• Certification in Addiction counseling preferred.
• Current MD licensure for LCPC, LCSW-C
• Current MD licensure for Psychologist

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• At least two years of experience in mental health care setting
• Experience in group therapy
• Familiar with Utilization Review.
• CPR certification obtained within 6 months of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 27.47 per hour - Maximum 45.32 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
