Description
Under clinical supervision and within agency policy and clinical standards, masters level students will provide direct counseling and therapy services producing optimal outcome to a designated population. Services will be provided in one or more settings using evidence based treatment. Services include but are not limited to: assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, couple, child, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. Students will also learn and practice maintaining accurate and timely documentation to meet agency and program standards. POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: 2. Clinical Assessment and Diagnosing 3. Comprehensive Care Planning (Treatment Planning) and Case Management 4. Providing Therapeutic Interventions 5. Weekly supervision to discuss legal and ethical decision making 6. Clinical Documentation QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES: CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: OTHER INFORMATION Experience
Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning. Must demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations. (preferred)
