Position Summary:
The Specialty Goods Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting the overall management and success of the Specials program from an order and sample management standpoint and will be the main contact for Interface Account Executives regarding order status and fulfillment.

Educational requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
College or vocational training preferred


Skills and experience:
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Experienced in Outbound and Inbound customer service and support
Ability to maintain self-control in difficult situations and resolve issues
Must have sound business judgment
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with retail sales, telemarketing or customer management
Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
Strong proficiency with software office productivity applications
Ability to multi task and to prioritize tasks
Strong organizational skills


Essential duties:

Will assist in the duties of order processing of Specials products
Manage and coordinate samples for all internal & external customers
Handle purchase order process
Oversee customer order discrepancies
Participate in Photoshop projects
Maintain a high standard of timely product requests through phone calls, emails, and
faxes.
Manage physical entry of samples and orders into computer
Manage transport of samples to sample center
Coordinate marketing photography of product inventory onto website
Facilitate specialty good donations for internal and external customers
Keep website inventory current
Update E1 of sample/order status
Manage potential live feed website
Assists in driving sales growth through providing exceptional teamwork and order management to Interface Account Executives, dealers, end users and Interface associates with projects
Pertaining to the growth of Specials products/programs
Assist with inventory management as needed for specials programs
Assist with order and product transfers between warehouses
Work with carriers to schedule pick ups
Process UPS shipments via WorldShip system
Maintain housekeeping
Comply with safety rules
Comply with environmental regulations

Be familiar with departmental KPIs
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Willingness to learn and understand Interface's commitment to sustainability
Perform other duties as assigned
