About the Role: The Manager, Training will be expected to further develop and sustain a best-in-class onboarding and on-the-job training program across our manufacturing locations. They will ensure the continued enhancement of critical training activities that align with the company's overall strategy to further leverage our most valuable asset and meet organizational goals and objectives. Your Responsibilities:
- The Manager, Training will own all aspects of the onboarding and on-the-job training programs
- Responsible for setting expectations, driving performance and overall staffing needs of the training team
- Develops and manages the audit and feedback process to measure internal training deliverables and effectiveness
- Provide leadership and guidance to the training team
- Partners with the business to understand and support their training needs
- Supports hourly training needs in Lafayette, including but not limited to department level on-the-job training programs.
- Responsible for managing all training related documentation
- Owns and is responsible for the budget regarding the training expenses including labor and supplies
- Owns and is responsible for the physical training center areas dedicated to training
- Facilitates training across all shifts train as necessary
- Develops and maintains systems to track on-going training to support continuous learning. This may involve quarterly, or annual training programs based on specific business needs
- Participates in training related audits such as ISO and is responsible for producing documentation and addressing findings.
- Benchmarks training against other organizations for improvement opportunities
- Builds relationships with community and educational partners in surrounding area to improve technical competencies of local workforce
- Supports other HR functions as needed, including but not limited to supporting HR needs in the office and assisting with hiring events.

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Adult Learning, Education, or similar field
- 6+ years training experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years management experience required
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop direct reports through team building
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kronos, ADP, SAP and other business software/systems preferred
- Demonstrates ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Good organizational skills and efficiency in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective decision-making skills with minimal supervision required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic, creative, and energetic individual with effective verbal and written communication skills
