NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Junior Software Engineer position based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

The Junior Software Engineer is responsible for software application development.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications
  • Design, code and debug applications in Visual Studio using C# .NET (WPF/ASP.NET)
  • Design front-end user interfaces
  • Maintain and document software functionality
  • Implement localization or globalization of software
  • Support and/or installation of software applications/operating systems
  • Responsible for the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
  • Travel: 5% including weekends

Required skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school
  • One to three years (1 -3) related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced skills in all company-provided hardware, software, and networks, and computer programming languages.
  • Must have a good understanding of programming concepts.
  • MCSD certification preferred.
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
