POSITION

Allspring is seeking a Trade Support Analyst to support the fast-growing retail Separately Managed Account(SMA) business. This analyst will play a key role in the portfolio implementation team which supports both, equity and fixed income-based strategies. Applicants should expect to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while working to control the significant financial risk inherent in securities trading. This analyst will build important relationships and play a critical role as a subject matter expert for the business partners we routinely support, such as distribution and portfolio management.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support investment teams as they implement their model changes, or enter trades for separately managed accounts
  • Function as liaison when in communication of trade allocation details to custodians or other interested parties
  • Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly operational tasks with flawless execution
  • Effectively correspond with brokers and custodian banks to coordinate timely resolution of complex operational or trading matters
  • Provide daily oversight of the outsourced operations team responsible for trading and general account management
  • Timely coordinate any cancel/re-billing of trades with custodian partners
  • Follow procedures while also thinking critically and creatively to actively improve processes, problem solve, trouble shoot and create solutions to one-off issues
  • Establish effective relationships with team members, investment teams, traders, brokers and custodians


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Customer service mentality with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
  • Possess strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with distinct groups that may be looking to accomplish varied objectives
  • Tech savvy with advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Eagerness to learn and integrate information from multiple people and sources
  • Ability to manage multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • General knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, and other investment security types
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Capacity to interact effectively and professionally with peers as well as external parties under time pressure
  • Desire to drive change toward continuous improvement, automation and business excellence
  • BA/BS or relevant work experience
