Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for the set-up, light maintenance and operation of all die-cutters. Performs tasks in compliance with work instructions to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.

Essential Functions:



  • Set up, maintain, and operate all die cutters.
  • Capable of performing all Production Worker job duties.
  • Resolve minor problems and make recommendations for changes and improvements in processes and technique.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, techniques, and processes.
  • Works independently, efficiently manages time, and uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Participates in continuous improvement programs.
  • Employ effective, respectful and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all current company policies.
  • Assist with department cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Functions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • 1 year or more related experience.
  • Able to effectively perform all basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.)
  • Ability to effectively read, interpret and communicate industry and customer specific documentation.
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.



Environment and Physical Demands:



  • 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday. Work during non-traditional hours (weekends and evenings) is required.
  • Work in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations.)
  • Specific vision requirements.
  • Continuously walk, stand, bend, and twist.
  • Frequently reach, grasp, pinch, and lift/move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally sit, talk, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and hear.
