Building & Groundkeeper Assitant (Seasonal)

Primary Purpose: Assist in Keeping Benton Grounds groomed and well kept.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Maintain Benton Grounds
• Cut Grass
• Maintain flower beds (Weed Eating)
• Pickup up trash and/or debris as needed
• Sweep sidewalks
• Rake leaves
• Remove snow/ice
• Required regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to work flexible hours (during hot summer days, 6am to 3pm)

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; or full-time high school student.

Experience: Prior experience in grounds keeping a plus.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must be highly motivated and able to work safely and independently
• Excellent organization skills, follow-through, time management, and interpersonal skills
