About the Role:

The Mastering Technician is primarily responsible for all day to day Music and Voice shipping processes. This includes daily, monthly and seasonal packing, shipping, and confirming of all work orders; as well as consistent internal communication with Admin, Media Fulfillment, and Voice departments. Secondary responsibilities include per-need assistance clean-up projects assigned by the Media Fulfillment Manager.

This position requires a high level of organization and keen attention to detail. An ability to stay on task and focused for extended periods of time. The ability to adapt to constant changes in workload and priorities is a necessity. Work is performed in a warehouse environment that is unconditioned (unheated/uncooled) and team members are asked to dress appropriately for the outside weather. Additionally, open-toe shoes and headphones are not allowed due to safety concerns around forklift operation.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Communicating and collaborating with team members to ensure all members of the team are aware of the daily productivity requirements.
  • Using an online database, regularly pull prepared reports and conduct information searches to determine Music and Voice open order requirements.
  • Communicate verbally, face-to-face and/or by phone, e-mail or other electronic communication with other departments to develop, document and enhance new processes.
  • Collaborates with others on the team and in other departments to fulfill client deadlines, meet rush assignments and accommodate last minute requests.
  • Confirms that all daily work orders have been printed, are fulfilled and are entered into the data systems for billing and client history updates.
  • Assists with miscellaneous database scrubbing and updating within Mood's propriety data systems in collaboration with and for other departments.
  • As a member of the team, is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
  • Perform quality control checks verifying disk labeling with database information
  • Process shipments utilizing USPS or 3rd party shipping software.

About You:

  • High School or GED
  • 1-3 Years Work Experience
  • Basic computer keyboard skills and ability to stay focused on point in a busy, open office environment.
