Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
The DAT plans, coordinates, conducts, and documents Joint, Interservice and service-specific experiments, assessments and demonstrations.
- The Test and Evaluation Analyst will support all aspects of exercise, demonstration and assessment (EDA) events to include event planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- The Test and Evaluation Analyst will liaise and coordinate with operational units and military bases and range control agencies for their support and participation in assessment events.
- Responsibilities include working in a small team and with Government customers to plan events, travel to and execute events, analyze test data, and develop test reports and briefings.
Qualifications
- BS or BA in Scientific or Technical Discipline and six plus years of experience. Related experience can be substituted for a degree
- A minimum of a current SECRET Clearance is required
- Military test and evaluation (T&E) experience, with non-traditional assessment and/or operational test and evaluation experience
- Analytical skills to include developing assessment metrics (both subjective and objective), identifying data collection requirements, analyzing data, and summarizing results with a focus on identifying process improvements
- Experience in:
- Planning and conducting developmental or operational tests (DT/OT) of emerging science and technology (S&T) systems
- Planning events to include coordination with military agencies, logistics support, event schedule development, event scenario development, and venue coordination
- Conducting events to include event set-up, briefing participants, collecting data (automated and manual), scenario execution, and coordination with civil-military agencies
- Strong technical/analytical writing skills with experience developing test plans, briefings, and reports
- Surface Warfare Officer with completed Department Head Tour
- Experience with Military Sealift Command and/or Amphibs
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $89,800.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
