What You Will Do as a Costing Manager:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Costing Manager to oversee and enhance our cost management processes. This role will be responsible for maintaining our cost database, implementing a new cost system-including rewriting processes-and providing detailed variance explanations to senior leadership. The Costing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand Managers, Product Development, Operations, Internal Manufacturing, and Sourcing Hubs, to ensure accurate and efficient cost tracking and reporting.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard product costing models to ensure accurate and consistent cost reporting across the organization.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial forecasts, annual plans, and supply chain variance reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the monthly closing process by conducting detailed variance analysis against forecasts, identifying key drivers, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders and prepare required journal entries.
  • Deliver data-driven analytics to management on current and future cost changes, highlighting risks and opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Design and develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to support the Supply Chain Management team in executive-level reviews and strategic discussions.
  • Conduct critical analytical research to evaluate supply chain performance, identify operational improvements, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives in collaboration with Finance and Operations teams.
  • Execute in-depth monthly and ad hoc financial analyses to address business challenges, support decision-making, and respond to evolving organizational needs.

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost analysis, cost management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of costing methodologies, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics and financial reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods industry.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and supply chain cost structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools.
