Job Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Director for the Division of Urogynecology and Reproductive Pelvic Surgery! Responsibilities: Clinical responsibilities include participating in the care of patients at the UW Health and Meriter Hospitals. Responsibilities include management of complex pelvic floor disorders as well as full-time call for urogynecology patients and consults. In addition, the candidate will continue to build an advanced sub-specialty practice. This position will include working with the Gynecologic Oncology (Gyn Onc) and Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ASOG) Divisions, assessing advanced gynecologic disease. The incumbent will participate in opportunities for community service at the department, school, and institution levels appropriate to the tenure/CHS faculty rank. Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching programs related to medical students, residents and fellowships. This will include responsibilities in the simulation lab, developing advanced skills and metrics for learners. The candidate is also expected to oversee the training of residents and fellows in the operating room, clinic, and inpatient unit. Education: Required Qualifications: - Completion of a four-year approved/accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn), Board certified or eligible (BC/BE).
