This position offers:

* Starting pay of $19.55/hr. up to top pay of $27.59/hr.*

* Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential

*additional shift differential for off-shifts

What You Drive at DTNA

General Purpose of the Position:

Move, store, and deliver materials as directed following prescribed practices or instructions. Select customer orders from stock merchandise and place orders in bins, drop areas, etc...May replenish pick areas.

Posting will be increased to a grade 5 upon completion of forklift and Navision training.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, identify, and sort core

  • Assist with storage and pulling of core including packaging/labeling

  • Assist with the delivery of materials to production lines as needed

  • Must meet annual training requirements

  • Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.

  • Replenish production areas with units to be processed

  • Removed processed units from area and deliver to appropriate customer

  • Physically verify multiple parts and quantities

  • Identify and verify all new, reman, and internal part

  • Complete move sheets to accurately track processed components

  • Assist with shipping and receiving goods

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools

  • Ability to operate PIV and/or demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements

  • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds(with hoist assist).

  • Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment

  • Read, understand and complete documentation

  • Willingness to cross-train throughout the area

  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently

  • Ability to work overtime when necessary.

  • Attention to detail & organization skills

  • Ability to operate computer & Microsoft office( excel, word, power point, etc.)

  • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures

  • Cross-train on other jobs as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED

  • Years of Experience: 0

  • Other Qualifications:

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a daily basis

    • Ability to identify numbers and retain to memory

    • Ability to use hand trucks or pickers to transport materials

    • Ability to work independently or part of a team

    • Ability to multi-task

  • Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Knowledge of parts

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing/inventory setting
