About This Role:

As Emerging Technology Architect, you'll have the opportunity to drive technological innovation that directly shapes our competitive advantage. This high-visibility role offers exceptional growth potential, with regular exposure to senior leadership and the chance to build an enterprise-wide reputation as a technology visionary and change agent

Key Responsibilities:
* Technology Horizon Scanning: Identify and evaluate emerging technology trends across near-term (H1), mid-term (H2), and long-term (H3) horizons, connecting potential innovations to business value.
* Strategic Innovation Leadership: Research, analyze, and champion emerging technologies that address critical business opportunities or mitigate competitive threats, helping define our technological future.
* Hands-On Innovation: Lead technical discovery workshops and develop working prototypes that de-risk implementation. Demonstrate technical excellence through full-stack development capabilities and practical innovation.
* Enterprise Architecture Integration: Partner with EA team to align emerging technology initiatives with enterprise standards, technical roadmaps, and strategic objectives, ensuring cohesive technological evolution.
* Modernization Champion: Drive technological transformation through cloud-first strategies, hybrid infrastructure optimization, and monolith decomposition, creating a more agile and resilient technology foundation.
* Technical Thought Leadership: Cultivate and showcase deep expertise across multiple technical domains, serving as a trusted advisor to technology teams and business stakeholders.
* Business-Technology Alignment: Develop strong business acumen to ensure technology research and initiatives directly address business challenges and opportunities, creating measurable impact.
* Senior Leadership Engagement: Communicate complex technology concepts effectively to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions and securing buy-in for transformative initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required Qualifications:
* B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
* 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in senior engineering or architectural roles
* Deep expertise in cloud platforms, API frameworks, and microservices architecture
* Practical experience implementing modern development methodologies and DevOps practices
* Exceptional collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships across organizational boundaries
* Outstanding communication abilities, particularly translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
* Architectural versatility across multiple technology domains
* Superior problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $105,443.00-$179,253.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
