Pay: $26.44 - $27.40 an hour

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

The Accounting Associate will support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring accurate financial transactions and compliance with internal controls. Responsibilities include recording and reconciling customer payments, processing vendor invoices, managing collections, and assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. This role works under senior accounting personnel and does not have approval authority over payments or collections.

Responsibilities:



  • Record payments, reconcile transactions, support collections, issue refunds and credits, and prepare journal entries.
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and check requests. Reconcile vendor accounts, verify company credit card expenses, and assist with ACH and wire transfers.
  • Reconcile bank statements, assist with broker commission calculations, and support month-end/year-end close.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with segregation of duties.



Qualifications:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Navision preferred).
