Overview
The Financial Planner & Strategic Initiatives Officer Senior will lead CNB's strategic initiatives to grow the WM Banking business while serving as the team's strategic advisor - evaluating new product relevancy and performance, connecting to senior stakeholders to provide imperative business updates, liaising with product owners and business development on banking roadmap. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive financial plans for clients and prospects, including retirement projections, estate-planning analysis (including analyzing, understanding, and discussing trust documents), tax-planning, Social Security claims analysis, education-funding analysis, stock options analysis, and risk management needs. analysis
- Continuously and proactively monitor clients' financial situations with detail and accuracy.
- Use both proprietary models and software-based (MoneyGuidePro) financial planning tools to create financial plans for clients and prospects.
- Partner with our RM and Wealth Advisor colleagues to deliver an exceptional, seamless experience with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and accountability for each client's future.
- Enhance relationships with key clients through needs assessment dialogues. Use exceptional Client Relationship Management skills to uncover clients' advance needs and position the appropriate solution to meet those needs.
- Work closely with our team of Subject Matter Experts to develop client strategies that incorporate any recommendations that are relevant and specific to each client.
- Remain current on financial planning topics and industry best practices including, but not limited to, wealth transfer strategies, business succession, complex retirement needs, Social Security, and estate and tax planning.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of financial planning experience
- Minimum 2 years Experience working with Technology & Social Media
- Minimum 2 years Experience working with MoneyGuidePro, EMoney, Addepar or similar software
- Detail and analytically oriented with the ability to organize data and think critically "on-the-spot"
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and prioritize competing timelines.
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills - ability to cultivate and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to actively work within a team environment while driving accountability for personal goals.
- Independent, personable, proactive learner, and listener.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or similar.
- Required Master's Degree Preferred
