Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Data Management Specialist / Mission Planner to participate in Mission, Planning, and Execution (MP&E) for the MACH-TB program. Data Management Specialist functions include creating Data Annex for the MACH-TB 2.0 Program. The Data Annex includes product distribution information, time frame for deliveries, media used for delivery, and Distribution Statement & Security Classification Guide (SCG) requirements. Deploy in the Data Management role to off-site testing ranges (Reagan Test Site, Wallops Flight Facility, Vandenberg Space Force Base, PSCA on Kodiak, AK, and Pacific Missile Range Facility). Submit data requests for pre and post mission planning and analysis products utilizing the Hypercore Data Management System. Receive and distribute pre and post mission data at deployed test ranges. Support NSWC Crane Government and Kratos Data Managers in preparation of the Integrated Data Management Plans. Answer correspondence and provide support to the MACH-TB data community.

The role will be report to the Mission Planning and Execution Director, assisting with MP&E documentation for hypersonic testing. This position includes working closely with the customer to support experiment selection, defining test objectives, validating flight predictions, assessing mission requirements compliance, managing schedules, data reviews, and providing the documentation necessary for multiple launches and campaigns per year between multiple launch providers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Perform Data Management functions
  • Build Test Execution and Mission Planning Documentation: Execution Calendars, Operations Schedules, Test Information Sheets, Test Constraints Document, Go/No-Go Criteria, Mission Coordination Packages
  • Schedule and Participate in Mission Coordination Meetings and other IPT meetings
  • Participate with the coordination of the inputs of various team members to identify and call attention to potential conflicts in availability, readiness, and configurations.
  • Help with briefings on updates and status on assigned activities. Help to organize and facilitate incremental reviews. iHelp to adjudicate and reconcile technical and operational issues. Help to schedule and oversee regular coordination meetings, and help with actively managing the completion of delegated tasks.
  • Help with leading Mission design, strategic planning, and verification of performance prediction for current and future launch campaigns.
  • Help with providing oversight and mentoring to the programis technical teams, analysts, and other mission planning personnel.
  • Help to define and manage risks in terms of resources, personnel, and schedule across all missions and campaigns.
  • Help to oversee vehicle trade studies and defining of high-level mission requirements.
  • Help with the development of IMS inputs and define critical paths from various groups and subcontractors from mission initiation to launch to meet the programs major milestones.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Bacheloris degree and from an accredited college or 20+ years of practical experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
