JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Northeast Center of Excellence for Pavement Technology (NECEPT) under The Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute of the College of Engineering is seeking junior/senior level undergraduate students or graduate students seeking a Master of Science Degree in engineering to conduct laboratory work at Penn State Asphalt Pavement Laboratories.Civil Engineering students with material testing experience are preferred but the position is open to all junior/senior level students pursuing a bachelor degree of graduate students seeking a Master of Science degree in engineering. Duties would include processing aggregates, researching asphalt materials, mixing, compacting, and testing asphalt concrete specimens, mechanical testing of asphalt concrete, and data analysis.
