Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Chain Pricing Coordinator. Summary

The Chain Pricing Coordinator manages and submits price changes and promotional information for chain stores. This role involves close collaboration with the Pricing and Compliance Director and Key Account Managers to ensure pricing accuracy and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Pricing Support:

  • Inputs price changes in chain stores software programs and submits file-based (Excel) contracts via email.
  • Submits all pricing to assigned chain stores.
  • Sends all new promotion pricing to their chain's contacts or loads directly on company portals.
  • Understands the chain's time requirements for approval and submits accordingly
  • Works within 30/60/90/180-day submission windows and accurately communicates pricing
  • Works with Pricing and Compliance Director to streamline submissions and find time-saving techniques
  • Continually monitors the Bottle 1 document for changes, additions, and reports accordingly.
  • Aids in keeping Gallo wine and spirits pricing current by performing a periodic audit for accuracy
  • Produces reports on chains as needed to check for margin accuracy and price compliance.
  • Assists with communicating price changes and promotional information to chain headquarters.

Key Account Manager Support:

  • Assist with investigating discrepancies at store or corporate levels and correcting as needed.
  • Works closely with the Key Account Managers to ensure pricing is accurate.
  • Submits new item forms/pricing as needed by the Key Account Manager.
  • Assists on future programs to sell at buyer level

Assists in projects on a department-wide basis.

Other duties as assigned by the Pricing and Compliance Director.

Education and/or Experience

College or technical school certification; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet and Web portal software; Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word required. 10-key experienced, SAP, Diver, Pocket Advantage preferred.
