About Us

Overview The Director, Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for leading market research efforts to identify CL Customer product needs, preferences, and industry trends as inputs into the commercial lines product strategies. Leading a team that assesses the competitor landscape, including insurance offerings, distribution strategies, technology offerings, value-added services, and marketing strategies as part of the product discovery process. This includes analyzing macro level agency and customer behavior data and deriving insights to inform new and existing product development decisions, providing research-based recommendations for product enhancements, gaps and new feature development. Develop and maintain the tools and processes needed to communicate actionable findings to the standard and non-standard commercial organizations, including regular quarterly and ad-hoc research analysis reports. Collaboration with the product management team, product councils and other key stakeholders is a critical input to aligning findings with the product roadmap. Responsibilities also include collaboration with other research functions in the organization as well as staying up to date with emerging technologies and innovations in the insurance industry, which may include participation in industry product groups.
