About the Opportunity
Reporting to the AVP for Shared Advancement Services, the Director of Advancement CRM Services will be an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Raiser's Edge NXT, most specifically in the areas of reporting, exporting, importing, and general database hygiene and maintenance. This position will provide data analyst services and support to institutions that participate in the Shared Advancement Services program (currently six institutions). This position requires experience prioritizing and managing varied tasks, excellent teamwork skills, and exceptional customer service and support. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well-organized, and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position is a remote work arrangement with occasional travel required to participating campus locations as needed during the year for on-campus special events and engagement opportunities as well as important network meetings and trainings. UNC System employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina and reside within a 2-hour commuting distance of assigned duty station.

About the UNC System Office

The UNC System Office includes the offices of the President and other senior administrators of the multi-campus University of North Carolina System. The UNC System is a treasured public institution dedicated to serving the people of North Carolina through world-class teaching, research, and community engagement. Today, nearly 250,000 students are enrolled in our 16 universities across the state and at the NC School of Science and Mathematics. System Office staff is responsible for executing the policies of the UNC Board of Governors and providing University-wide leadership in the areas of academic affairs, business and financial management, long-range planning, student affairs, research, legal affairs, and government relations. The UNC System Office also has administrative oversight of a number of University affiliates, including PBS North Carolina, the North Carolina Arboretum, the NC State Education Assistance Authority, and University of North Carolina Press.

About the Team
Shared Advancement Services (SAS) employs our expertise in advancement to enhance the philanthropic success of our partnering UNC System institutions and affiliated entities through immersive collaboration, targeted education, and expert consultation which leads to improving operational efficiency, building equity, and increasing the margin of excellence. SAS provides crucial support to participating System institutions in the areas of prospect research and management, CRM data and reporting services, and gift planning services. Additionally, the division supports vendor coordination, analytics, and professional development for the fundraising and alumni engagement programs of the multi-campus UNC System.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills
Master's and 1-2 years' experience; or Bachelors and 2-4 years' experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
*Five or more years of experience in reporting and data management in Raiser's Edge NXT
*Experience with Omatic's Importomatic and Postomatic
*Experience in higher education advancement
