Essential Functions

* Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

* Assures the appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies

* Assures implementation of processes to support delivery of quality Pharmacy services

* Serves as liaison between the pharmacy department and the Infectious Diseases practice group

* Trains staff as assigned in areas of expertise

* Serves on hospital committees including but not limited to Pharmacy and Therapeutics,

Antimicrobial Stewardship and the local and Enterprise level, regulatory readiness committees

* Serve a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students as assigned

* Work with clinical pharmacy department to develop new protocols, service lines, and initiatives to

further departmental goals and objectives

Education:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Experience:

• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency completion required

• PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency preferred

• If no residency completion, minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist required

• If only PGY1 Pharmacy Residency completed, minimum of 3 years experience as a clinical pharmacist
