IT Facility Manager

Manage Information Technology Systems in support of US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Space Vehicles Directorate (RV), Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division (RVE), RAPID Branch with research and development, systems engineering, mission development, modeling and simulation, and ground and flight operations support for both large and small space technology experiments.

- 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining government IT systems.

- Desired education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), Information Technology, computer science or similar from a regionally accredited institution.

- Extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and accreditation of both classified and unclassified IT systems, particularly within the defense industry.

- Hands-on experience with security protocols for classified systems, including encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data loss prevention (DLP).

- Experience with IT asset management, including software, hardware, and network inventory tracking.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT and network issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

- Experience with Windows, Linux, and other server OS installation, administration, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure and working in secure, classified environments.

- Support technical and network engineering tasks for communication experiments

Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of related work experience -or- Master's degree with 6-8 years of related work experience

• Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
