We have an opportunity for a Benefits Program Manager to join our Benefits team in Golden Valley, MN. Reporting to the Global Benefits Sr Director, you will manage and administer our health, wellness, retirement, and other ancillary programs for employees across North America. You will:

  • Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process including working with vendors, creating and deploying employee communication materials, and conveying new benefits information to field and business-level HR Business Partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve our various benefits offerings.
  • Manage the administration of benefit plans, including direct vendor management, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Analyze reports and data from vendors to assist in cost control and managing appropriate participation levels of the various plans.
  • Monitor compliance of benefit plans to ensure benefit plan testing, notices, plan documents and filings are completed timely and delivered accurately.
  • Support the timely resolution of employee issues by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Lead, develop, and implement effective communication strategies that drive engagement and educate employees about company benefits programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) required. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification or advanced training in benefits a plus.
  • Have 9+ years of total benefits experience, including medical, pharmacy, dental, 401k, employee wellness/wellbeing and outsourced benefits administration experience.
  • Have 3-5 years of experience managing benefits programs, including experience managing vendor partnerships and relationships.
  • Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits (COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.) and notice and reporting obligations.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of Canadian and non-U.S. benefits is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Workday HRIS is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to partner and influence cross functionally.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and carry out assigned projects to completion.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
